Manchester
Chaos Karts Manchester is an augmented-reality karting experience in Manchester, operated by Arcade Arena. Electric karts race on projection-mapped tracks with virtual weapons and power-ups. A race lasts around 20 minutes within a longer visit, and a bar is on site. Stag, hen, birthday and corporate bookings are taken.
Rowrah
Cumbria Kart Racing Club runs a 1,030 metre circuit at Rowrah. Pre-booked arrive and drive sessions run on Monday evenings and selected weekends, while groups can choose a Grand Prix, Mini Iron Man or Super Iron Man race, or a three-driver Team Endurance format. Corporate and team-building bookings are taken, and there is a cafe on site.
Blackpool
Formula Kart is a 750 metre track in Blackpool, running Honda GX160 power, with a twin-engine pro kart for seniors and a separate junior kart. Arrive and drive sessions come in three lengths. Grand Prix events cater for 8 to 40 drivers, and a Team Endurance format suits teams of two to five. Stag, hen, corporate and kids party bookings are taken.
Rochdale
TeamKarting Rochdale is an indoor tarmac track using petrol karts: 200cc TB karts for adults, 160cc BIZ karts for juniors and petrol bambino karts. Adult sessions are 20 minutes, with double and triple options, and Grand Prix Bronze, Silver and Gold add a qualifier and a race. Super Sunday runs three heats. Parties, stag, hen and corporate groups are taken.
Liverpool
TeamSport Liverpool has two indoor electric tracks and a 475 m circuit, on Sefton Street. Sodi RSX2 karts run alongside the Biz EcoVolt Junior. Combat Karts, Drive and Bowl and a Rookie Race Experience are on the session list. Brunswick station is under 5 minutes' walk, and free parking is at the rear on Harrington Road. A cafe and bar are on site.
Trafford Park
Petrol Biz Evo3 karts run on a 450 m indoor circuit on Wharfside Way, Trafford Park. Honda GX200RH engines power the adult karts and GX160RH engines the cadet versions. Manchester United Football Ground station is about 15 minutes' walk. Parking is free, the ground-floor spectator area and pit lane are wheelchair accessible, and there is a cafe and bar.
Manchester
TeamSport Manchester Victoria is an indoor electric track on Victoria Station Approach, Manchester, 550 m long. Biz EcoVolt GT karts have a 45Nm brushless motor and the Junior a 25Nm motor. Rookie Racers uses reduced kart speeds. Parking is paid, at the Manchester Arena car park on New Bridge Street. The spectator area and pit lane are wheelchair accessible.
Bamber Bridge
TeamSport Preston is at Walton Summit, Bamber Bridge, with two electric indoor tracks and a 500 m circuit. Biz EcoVolt and Sodi RSX2 karts are used. Combat Karts is a gamified race with power-ups and medals for the top three, and Double Drive 30/12 is also sold. Bamber Bridge station is about 15 minutes' walk. Its leagues include BIKC, the British Indoor Karting Championship.
Warrington
The Warrington track is an indoor circuit of 1,000 m on Bank Quay Trading Estate, with electric Biz EcoVolt karts. The adult kart has a 45Nm brushless motor and the junior a 25Nm motor. Drive and Bowl is offered. Bank Quay station is the nearest, and parking outside is free. The pit lane is fully accessible by wheelchair, but the bar is not.
Ashton-in-Makerfield
Three Sisters Circuit is an outdoor petrol venue at Ashton-in-Makerfield with a 1,000 m club circuit. Karts are Sodi RT10 adults, plus 160cc junior and 120cc cadet karts, with a separate Cadet Loop. Leagues include Winter and Summer Sprints and 3S40, 3S120 and 3S360 enduros. It has changing rooms, lockers and a viewing area.
Maryport
West Coast Indoor Karting, at Maryport, is an indoor venue with two tracks, a 550 metre main circuit and a shorter children's track. Karts range from Stratos practice karts to Page single and twin-engine race karts, and hand-control karts are available. Formats include Grand Prix, Monaco and Iron Man. Stag, hen, birthday and team-building groups are catered for.
