Privacy and cookies
Kart365 collects as little as it can. This page explains what we do collect, why, and how to change your mind.

Who we are
Kart365 (kart365.co.uk) is an independent guide to UK go-karting tracks. Email hello@kart365.co.uk with any question about this page or your data.
What we don't collect
There are no accounts, logins or comment boxes on Kart365, and we never ask for payment details.
The contact form
If you use our contact form, we receive what you type: your message, the track it's about, your email address and, if you give it, your name. The form emails this to us. We use your email address only to reply to you. We never add it to a mailing list, and the form never sends you anything automatically. We keep your message only as long as we need it to deal with what you asked, and we're relying on our legitimate interest in answering you and keeping track details right.
To stop the form being used for spam, our server records your IP address with each message. It keeps a scrambled version of the address for 24 hours to limit how many messages one address can send. The web server's logs, which record every visit to the site, keep it for 90 days; the form's own log keeps it for 14 days.
Analytics, only with your consent
We use Google Analytics 4, loaded through Google Tag Manager, to see which pages people read and which links they click (for example a track's "Book now" button). It tells us what to improve. If you're in the UK, the EEA or Switzerland, Google Analytics stores nothing on your device until you agree in our consent message. If you don't agree, Google receives only cookieless signals with no identifiers, which it uses for modelled totals.
Google Analytics doesn't log or store IP addresses. We keep analytics data for 14 months. You can read how Google uses data at policies.google.com.
The consent message
Our consent message comes from Google's Privacy and messaging tool. It saves your choice in a cookie on this site so we don't ask you on every page. You can change your choice at any time with Cookie settings at the bottom of every page.

We don't show adverts at the moment. If that changes we'll update this page and ask for your consent first.
Affiliate links
Some links on our gear guides go to Demon Tweeks through Awin, an affiliate network. If you buy something after clicking one, we may earn a commission. It doesn't change the price you pay. When you click one of these links, Awin records the click and may set cookies on its own site to match the sale to us. Awin's privacy policy explains what it does.
Links to tracks
"Book now" and "See prices" links on track pages add utm_source=kart365.co.uk to the address, so the track can see the visit came from us. They carry nothing about you. Each track's own website has its own privacy policy.
Server logs
Like every website, our server records each request: the IP address, the page, the time and the browser. We use these logs to keep the site running and to block attacks, and delete them after 90 days. The server is in London.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask what data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, and object to how we use it. Email hello@kart365.co.uk. If you're unhappy with our answer you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
